Overview
Outsource UK are currently working with a leading defence company who are seeking a Production Planner for a 12 month contract based in Salmesbury. Job Description Undertake production project management activities to ensure the F35 Assembly business delivers on time and to cost. Through the creation of project information and reports highlight cost, schedule and cost base issues to allow management action to ensure the key deliverables are achieved. Production of customer delivery reports. Production of cost reporting information and reports. Production of resource reports. Undertake project management activities in line with monthly cycle of activities. Baseline project control system and provide regular status reporting on progress. Skills Required PC literate and competent with Microsoft Excel/Access Previously worked in Aerospace Logical, analytical and structured approach to problem solving Self-management and motivation to identify and deliver tasks within acceptable time frames with minimal guidance and supervision Project Management background Able to support other team members and monitor own and team progress against planned delivery and quality targets and to contribute to continuous improvement of the planning function.
