Your new role You’ll be working in the software engineering function as a Security Engineer. The Engineering Team has an exciting culture, building cloud native software applications, running innovation days, gamifying security and engineering incidents, and they’ll allow for 10% of your time for continuous learning. We’re looking for the successful candidate to help grow their team and embed security by design in both software development and IT. What you'll need to succeed IT Security or IT/CS degree with security focus. System administration exposure: Linux/Windows. Exposure to concepts of software development. Experience of working within team-based environment Experience in handling and breaking down complex tasks into deliverables. Excellent communication skills. Python software development experience. Previous experience of Security Operations Centre / SOC Desirable Skills - not a deal breaker though Awareness of Data Analytics, Data Science, Threat Intelligence Experience of exploiting Linux/Windows systems.
