Overview

Technical Service Analyst - Wakefield - up to £32k Benefits (33 days holiday) We are looking for a Technical Services Analyst for a client in Wakefield. This role involves cross-skilling across both the infrastructure and service desks. You will visit remote company sites, get involved with large projects and see-through project delivery, whilst coming into contact with different technologies that will expand your infrastructure knowledge. Responsibilities include; Provide support for Windows Server 2008, 2012 & 2016 Provide support for Microsoft Server Technologies including but not limited to: Active Directory, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, Group Policy, & WSUS Provide 3rd line support Provide support for Virtualisation Technologies - VMWare & Hyper V Ensuring that the Groups Backup Technologies are running efficiently and are tested regularly Be involved in key projects and rollout programs for new technical implementations Be an escalation point to the Service Desk on BAU Incidents The Ideal Candidate will have skills / experience in; Operating in fast paced environments Have strong troubleshooting skills Previously worked as an Infrastructure analyst Flexible and adaptable to multiple issues or projects Practical experience in a Windows Server Technical Administration or Technical Support role Some retail exposure is desirable Have enthusiasm to learn more and expand your knowledge Please send a CV if you would like any further information
