Overview

I have a vacancy for a Technical Manager, a really varied role role with a particular focus on supplier assurance. This would be a great role for someone forward thinking and dynamic, keen to continuously move the business forward and strive for improvements wherever possible. You'd be joining a successful but ambitious team, who are keen to get more of a foothold in the retail market (they do a small amount, but are mainly a food service supplier) so there would be a great opportunity to play an integral role in this - any experience of gaining retailer approvals would be particularly beneficial. Your role would be responsible for both Technical Management and Supplier Assurance, and also oversight of the responsible sourcing/ethical compliance side of things, which is an interesting twist to the role. There will be an element of travel to suppliers, they envision a trip abroad probably bi-monthly. Salary is up to £55k, £5k car allowance, and up to 12% bonus made up of personal and company performance.
