Assistant Accountant, Edinburgh, £17 per hour Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance is partnered with a charity based in Central Edinburgh. Due to market growth our client is looking for a professional and ambitious Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis, for 6- months. Your new role Reporting into the Finance Controller with the purpose of the role being to lead and supervise the Finance Transaction Support Team which is responsible for all purchase, sales and expenses processing in addition to bank and general ledger control. The individual will be required to manage the month-end process within the Finance department and produce a month-end pack for review by the Financial Controllers and Head of Finance. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a Assistant Accountant role in a professional setting. You will be highly organised and have strong attention to detail. You will be confident working in a fast-paced role and be able to hit the ground running.
