Your new company An entrepreneurial Energy storage company that are owned by a major player in the global market of renewables. The company are looking to become a global leader in their area of the energy market and as such are looking for commercial focus to their finance team. Your new role The company are looking for a commercially minded accountant be finance lead for performance and reporting to Founders, reporting to parent group and also drive commercial intelligence around projects, including supplier and vendor analysis etc. the role will take a lot of control over projects and will be heavily involved with operations. Duties Ownership of finance function including funding requirements and financial reporting Delivery of budgets and forecast Lead on the review of the management reporting delivered from outsourced provider Exposure to third party capital raising Project analysis and appraisal including CAPEX analysis What you'll need to succeed A qualified accountant with a commercial background would thrive in this role. The successful applicant will however need the personal motivation to be lead of the overall delivery of the finance function which should make this role really appealing as it allows growth toward being a FD or Head of Planning in the future.
