OVERVIEW Interested in earning £120.00 per day. Ever thought of being your own boss? Love driving? Have a natural flair for delivering excellent customer service? Would you pass a criminal background check? No issues passing a drug & alcohol test? If your answer is ‘yes’ to each of the above questions, then we have the perfect opportunity for you We have several opportunities for self-employed drivers to provide delivery services on behalf of Menzies Distribution who provide third party support to Amazon. So, how does this role work? You will upload your deliveries onto your own van, you will use route guidance software (downloaded onto your smartphone) which will efficiently navigate you around your allotted route typically delivering between 120-160 parcels per day. Although prior delivery experience isn’t essential, it would be advantageous if you were familiar with major motorways, streets, commercial and residential addresses. And, let’s not forget you will have the prestige of representing one of the UK’s largest and most recognised distribution brands. WHAT YOU NEED A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points Own or have access to a van (Transit or similar) with valid MOT The ‘Right To Work’ in the UK with no unspent criminal convictions No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR Personal smartphone for delivery routing purposes PLEASE NOTE If you do not currently own van (transit or similar) you must be in a financial position to be able to lease or purchase one. We do not provide you with a van, but we can recommend companies that you can lease one from.
