In larger firms, roles can become a little bit restrictive, you either cover audit, accounts or tax. … You do your bit and then another Department does theirs. Not here, they like people in the team to cover more rounded roles. The split here will be roughly equal parts between the three. You’ll get a better work life balance with almost no need to cover any overtime. … If you do though, it’s paid at time and half. The size of the clients you will work with might be smaller but that doesn’t mean they will be any less interesting. You’ll be working with Owner Managed Businesses and working with companies of up to around £60M. There will be less time spent away from home too, aside from the one client that they have in London, your clients are all based in or around Northamptonshire. Kind of like the best of both worlds, they are big enough to work with and service large companies but small enough to keep your role varied.
