Overview
Mortgage Manager Location: Coventry Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 This is an exciting opportunity for a new Mortgage Manager to join a financial planning firm with a fantastic reputation. You will be responsible for delivering the budget allocated to Mortgages and line manage the Mortgage Advisors, Case Handlers. You will also oversee the administration processes and will ensure your team provide professional financial advice and adhere to all FCA rules. Responsibilities: Manage the level of mortgage enquires, working together with the Sales Manager, Head of Financial Services and Marketing Ensure new opportunities are triaged and achieve conversion targets Own the re-mortgage process to deliver conversion targets Responsible for the daily activity of advisors ensuring their diaries are at capacity target Line Management of the mortgage team to achieve their KPI’s and Sales Targets Provide Training, Development, Coaching and Supervision in accordance with the T&C plan Recruitment and Induction of all Mortgage staff and owning the competency sign off process working alongside the firm’s Supervisor Develop and evolve systems and processes to improve customer experience and efficiencies Keep up to date with product knowledge and competitor and market analysis Maintain knowledge of internal processes and financial and regulatory legislation Work closely with the compliance officer to report any risk and adhere to the T&C plan Skills: Minimum 2 years’ experience of providing advice on mortgage services and products Previous experience of working within a compliance regulated industry Strong knowledge of mortgage products Experience of manging/coaching a team Experience of managing sales targets of advisors Experience of managing advisor KPI’s What next?
