The Role: Due to a retiring advisor in the Edinburgh Area, there is a client base available for the incoming advisor to look after, work with and continue to build and develop on. The position would involve providing tailored Financial Planning Advice to the firm’s clients and converting and incoming leads or referrals that this client base generates. You will have full paraplanning and administrative support from an experienced, professional back office team. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is technically minded and with excellent relationship skills, but who could use the backing of a well-established firm to help them produce more in their Financial Planning Career. The Required Skills: - Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and working towards Chartered Status is Desirable. - Competent Advisor Status (CAS) - Experience or providing Holistic Financial Advice previously is essential. - A track record of managing a sizeable client bank and also writing a good level of business. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong analytical and numerical skills
