Overview
Senior Healthcare Assistant A Senior Healthcare Assistant is required by our client in Liverpool. Working with the team to support their 28 elderly residents to enjoy life to the fullest of their abilities. Location: Liverpool, L21 Hours: Full time, 40 hours Salary: £9.50 per hour - £10.50 per hour dependent on experience Role Type: Permanent Requirements for a Senior Healthcare Assistant The successful Senior Healthcare Assistant will provide excellent care in line with the care plans provided, ensuring the continuity and high standards of care that the home is known for. Key Responsibilities as a Senior Healthcare Assistant • Minimum of 2 years’ healthcare experience as a carer • Experience of working within elderly/dementia care settings • Assist with the implementation and updating of care plans and medication records according to company policy and legislative requirements. • Champion resident safety and dignity • Provide strong support and leadership to the team to deliver person-centred care in line with the Care Plans in place. • Collaborate with other team members and external agencies to achieve person-centred support plans The ideal Senior Healthcare Assistant • NVQ2 in Health and Social Care or higher • Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service • Must be able to provide 5 years of satisfactory references pertinent to the role • Senior Carer/experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to take the next step to further your career • Minimum of 2 years’ healthcare experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Right to work in the UK • Person-centred care experience • Attention to detail and accuracy within administrative skills and computer literacy.
