Overview
Management Accountant : Barbican : £32,000 - £36,000 Reporting to Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a junior/assistant management accountant or someone that has had exposure to the management accounts. Supported by a recent B round of $35m the company is planning on massive growth moving forwards, expanding already established offices in Denmark, Germany, New Zealand and the US. Responsibilities: Preparation of management accounts Preparation of payroll for the UK entity Assist to maintain cash control by ensuring timely monitoring and reporting of cash balances, movements and commitments across multiple accounts in various currencies Assisting the Finance Manager with VAT, corporate tax, R&D and other compliance matters. Assist the Finance Manager in dealing with audit and due diligence queries Assisting the accounts payable, accounts receivable and international payroll teams as required Provide ad-hoc general accounting assistance to the Finance Manager and wider financial control team Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience Strong academic background (2:1 or higher) Studying CIMA/ACCA or local equivalent A good understanding of double entry bookkeeping Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience in multi-currency transactions across international entities an advantage Experience of fast-growing tech start-ups strongly preferred Apply for this great role today
