Overview

Domus are recruiting a Registered Manager on behalf of one of the largest Learning Disability Charities in the UK. This is a great opportunity for Learning Disabilities Supported Living Manager or Registered Home Manager, who will be integral in leading the team to shape and develop the service strategy, and inspire the staff team to provide the highest quality of person-centered support. The successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of CQC standards and associated regulations, with exceptional leadership and organisational skills. You will oversee full responsibility of the management of a Residential Service and a Supported Living Service across two sites. Responsibilities: Be responsible for leading a "cluster" of services, inspiring your team and putting the tools in place to ensure your services are safe, caring, effective and well led. To take responsibility for continuous improvement of the services given CQC (Care Quality Commission) requirements, QAF (Quality Assessment Framework - the local authorities' quality monitoring framework) standards, best practice, to achieve personalised, high quality, safe service provision. To ensure all people who wish to be in the cluster of services are supported by excellence in Person Centered Active Support. To ensure that the finances for all services within the cluster are managed to budget ensuring maximum value for money. To manage the rota effectively to ensure that staffing levels are maintained at all times and meet the needs of the people we support in the most efficient way. To identify development opportunities for both current and future people supported, by actively promoting services and meeting targets set by the Regional Manager or Line Manager. Essential Requirements Must be experienced in Care Management specifically with people who have learning disabilities You should hold a Level 5 diploma or eligible to complete the Level 5 Diploma. Must have a full clean driving license Previously successful candidates have come from a Home Manager or Supported Living Manager position and worked with Learning Disability, Autism, challenging behaviour or complex needs for Adult services.
