Process Engineer (Chemical) Exciting opportunity for experienced Process Engineer to work in Hampshire on a 6 month contract, likely to be extended. The Company My client is an Engineering consultancy known for their excellence, innovation and reliability. They are seeking a highly capable Process Engineer on a contract basis to support the process delivery within a project environment and execute design work across a number of industry sectors. Process Engineer (Chemical) Role: Project Delivery Work as part of the Process Team on assigned projects, under direction of the Process Lead. Liaise with Process Lead, Project Manager and other disciplines to ensure the smooth delivery of process aspects of projects. Responsible for matters associated with the process design, and to ensure that the process designs conform to required standards, local legislation and project requirements, actively eking and taking guidance from others. Generate process design documents, drawings and reports including Equipment and instrument datasheets PFDs and P&IDs. Process engineering calculations e.g. mass and energy balance, equipment and line sizing etc. Process descriptions Process Engineer Requirements: Personal Well presented, business-like, reliable, and tolerant and determined to succeed. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel for up to a few days a month within the UK. Able to get on with others and be a team-player, together with an ability to communicate within a project team environment. Logical thinker, with the ability to develop new skills to solve new challenges. Problem solver, with the ability to generate and implement solutions and to transfer ideas between companies and industries. Self-awareness – conscious of personal levels of competence, with the ability to identify and call upon additional resources when these are exceeded. Other Requirements: Chemical Engineering degree recognised by the IChemE with a minimum Grade 2:1. A working knowledge of process safety related regulations and methodologies. An ability to communicate via both verbal and written means to peers and to people outside of the company. Legally permitted to live and work in the UK. UK Driving Licence. Why Should You Apply?
