Overview
This is an outstanding opportunity for a residential conveyancer to join a well known North Lincolnshire firm. You will be joining some driven and very experienced partners and associates who have cemented the firm's place in the Scunthorpe market. The Property Department covers both residential and commercial property, so this role would suit someone with experience within both areas of law. You can expect to find some complex caseloads in all matters of sales and purchase, conveyancing and commercial work, including high net worth individuals with property portfolios, small firms and owner-managed businesses. With your technical expertise, you will happy to handle a varied caseload of sales and purchase freehold and leasehold residential property, lease extensions, surrenders, new build, re-mortgages and transfers of title. On the commercial side typically it's the acquisition and disposal of commercial property for business clients - ie. shops, restaurants or industrial premises. The firm would expect you to be proactive and willing to assist in its successful development in line with business plans. You will also be able to assist colleagues daily. You will be presentable and well organised with excellent communication skills. You will appreciate working to deadlines, handling transactions, keeping clients fully informed and guiding them through the process. Applications from relocators will be considered, however, you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the North Lincolnshire area.
