Your new role They are looking for a security analyst to work as part of the Insider Threat team. The candidate will be monitoring information security controls for data loss and will be expected to record, update and track alerts and incidents for the attention of the security team. The candidate will be in charge of any potential threats of malicious data exposure, inappropriate web usage and unauthorised devices connecting to the local system. An attention to detail and expeditious awareness is vital to ensure the safety of the company's online system through verifying alerts and taking quick action when deemed necessary. What you'll need to succeed Ability to analyse alerts from security tools in line with information security policies. Performing of regular checks to identify any scale of threat to the online security. Usage of the company's network access controls to identify anomalous activity and threatening behaviour. Examine reports of activity, incidents to create dashboards in order to improve security situational awareness.
