Finance Controller
Overview
Sharp consultancy are currently looking for a financial controller to join a well established and vibrant client within the IT sector in Rotherham. As part of this role you will be responsible for overseeing and performing all functions of a management accountant. Main duties- Reporting weekly, monthly & quarterly Reconciliations Quality checking Auditing Analysing customer accounts and problem solving Ensuring deadlines are met Recommending improvements to processes and developing reports Key skills: IT industry experience would be desirable but not essential Business acumen and interest Strong excel skills. VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables Analytical ability A methodical approach and problem solving skills Ability to reflect on one's own work as well as the wider consequences of financial decisions Organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines Team working Client-facing and interpersonal skills The benefits: 25 days holiday increasing to 30 days over time Pension & Childcare Vouchers Scheme Competitive salary For the successful candidate, the client is able to offer an excellent future career path in a large business and you will be fully supported with your studies if you are part qualified.
