Overview
Permanent Full Time Teaching Position available at Hayes School: · A Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher , in Year three or four. · A passion and flair for Art would be welcome but is not essential. Thank you for your interest in working for Hayes School. We are the only Primary School in Torbay to be inspected under the new Ofsted framework, in October 2019, and we were judged as ‘good’ in all areas. Inspectors noted that parents are very positive and supportive of the school, that staff morale is high and staff are proud to work at the school. In 2019, our Key Stage Two results were significantly above national averages in SATs. The progress of children is above average in Reading and Writing and well above average in Maths. We are still, however, firmly on a journey to ‘outstanding’ and are looking for the right people to join us. We are ambitious for our school and for our pupils; we want to improve the opportunities and outcomes for all of them and to maximise each child’s potential. Our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) includes the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Business Manager, four phase leads (responsible for EYFS, KS 1, Y3 & 4 and Y5 & 6), two Assistant Headteachers and a HLTA.
