The successful Sous Chef will join a high flying, dedicated, focused team of chefs and will be given the support to define their skills. The restaurant offers refined dining offering and our client has a strong company ethos for high employee retention and strongly believe in staff investment and personal development. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the junior kitchen team with the running of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence. Duties will include: Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty Managing and training the team working with you Helping the Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety Managing waste control to maintain profit margins Due to its location, you will ideally have your own mode of transport.
