Overview

The Hospitality Head Chef will work alongside the Hospitality Manager, managing the provision of food for hospitality events. Providing the highest quality food in a manner that is legally compliant, sustainable & commercially viable. Ensure kitchens & wider operations run smoothly and efficiently. The post involves leading a team in the preparation and cooking of food for service, for events held across the University estate and external venues, allocating duties and ensuring the most efficient use of the team’s time, skills and abilities. Responsible for the development of menus, with a focus on fresh and healthy food that is nutritionally balanced ensuring menus are regularly updated and changed. Due to the nature of our operations working hours can be between 7am and 1am Monday to Sunday.
