Overview
Data Solution Architect (Analytics) A defence leading organisation that focus on providing technological and scientific expertise are in search of an ambitious Data Solution Engineer to join their proactive team of experts. They operate primarily in the defence, security and aerospace markets and their customers are predominantly government organisations. You will be specialising in maintaining and developing a leading-edge Data Analytics capability to support projects across the whole company, the successful candidate will join a pragmatic and hugely experienced team with perpetual opportunities for development, growth and progression. If you were to join their team, the responsibilities you can expect would be some of the following; Technical Leadership of bids and projects Leadership within business (an Integrated Delivery Team (IDT)) representing an enduring capability in Data Analytics Technical Sales - supporting the Business Development team to discuss possible solutions with customers Governance, review of customer deliverables Support formulation of strategy for Data Analytics I am looking for a candidate with a good track record of technical leadership of Data Analytics projects, someone who has in depth experience and knowledge of the engineering, analysis and architecture of Big Data systems. Experience across the full product development lifecycle from requirements to user testing and prior experience leading technical agile teams is also highly desired. You should also hold hands on experience in at least one of the following: Big Data engineering Machine Learning Natural Language Processing Computer Vision Desirable skills and/or experience also include: University Honours Degree Qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience Familiarity with a DevOps environment More general systems engineering design and implementation processes Enthusiastic and willing to work flexibly to be part of a high-performing team Proven experience of working in a consultancy role, focused on customer needs and requirements or equivalent engineering role with customer/stakeholder exposure and influence.
