Read on… The Senior Software Engineer - Android Role: OTT is the Division taking my client's powerful suite of OTT products, including AXIS and Diva, to major online video providers worldwide. The Front-End team comprises of the most talented UI professionals in the industry. Daily, they pioneer new ways for consumers to interact with technology and take pride in delivering world-class experiences on emerging technologies. Their premium UI software products and UXD consultancy are the principal choice of leading telecom, cable, broadcast, media and aviation companies. We are looking for a brilliant software engineer with a proven track record of creating mobile and (ideally - TV applications),who is excited about working in the Video-On-Demand industry. You will take responsibility for team development through code review, training, knowledge sharing and supporting less experienced colleagues. The Senior Software Engineer - Android - Duties: Requirements gathering, refinement and estimation Defining the architecture of OTT solutions The specification and delivery of projects using sound software engineering principles with a strong focus on user experience. Effective planning to deliver robust, modular and testable code Coordinate the work of a team of android Engineers Adhere and contribute to internal Engineering procedures, code conventions and best practice Documentation, including (but not limited to) software design and technical specification. Keep abreast of new technology and opportunities in UI engineering Agile development following the Scrum methodology. The Senior Software Engineer - Requirements: Android development Java Gradle Design Patterns RxJava Dagger2 Glide Google Play Services Play Store account administration and submission.
