Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join the team to take responsibility for a mix of MI, data migration and other data manipulation tasks. As the Data Analyst you will has experience looking at raw data and turning it into datasets so that it can be reported on. Use of MS SQL is fundamental to the role so you must have experience in SQL scripting, writing SQL statements and generating SQL queries. Candidates must have programming experience, data handling experience and data analysis ability. SQL scripting experience is essential and candidates should also be familiar with MS Reporting Services (SSRS) or a similar solution. MS Analysis Services (SSAS), MS Integration Services (SSIS), PowerBI and Database design/modelling are all preferred skills but not essential. Insurance domain knowledge would be beneficial. This is a great opportunity for a Data Analyst with strong technical skills who has some capability around Business Analysis. On offer is a salary in the region of up to £50,000 depending on experience.
