As Oracle Financials Specialist, you will be responsible for moderate to complex process management of current 11i Oracle General Ledger system and to work on the project of migration to Oracle Cloud. You will also need to provide analysis and support to legal entity controllers and financial accountants. Location: London Duration: 6 months Responsibilities As Oracle Financials Specialist your main responsibilities will involve: Be part of the Oracle Cloud migration team and act as General Ledger functional expert to supports finance users across EMEA Carry out functional analysis to ensure EMEA finance users' requirements are available in global instance of Oracle Cloud GL Platform Liaise with project team members and technology partners across the globe at different locations and time zone to ensure successful roll out of Oracle Cloud system Provide daily operational support on current Oracle GL R11i platform to business users while implementing Oracle Cloud Provide post go-live support to EMEA users for Oracle Cloud project Document functional analysis and change procedures Carry out end user training on system process Requirements As Oracle Financials Specialist your skills and qualifications will include: Expert experience and knowledge in Oracle EBS R12 or Cloud General Ledger, Payables and Fixed Asset module Expert experience and knowledge with Oracle multi-currency, multi-SOB, multi-org environment Expert experience and knowledge in Oracle GL functions: revaluation, reporting currency, GCS, Cross Validation rule, Security rule, Mass Allocation Knowledge and experience in maintaining Oracle System functions: Look Ups, Value Sets, Responsibilities, Menus and Functions Knowledge and experience of Oracle SQL script, familiarity of major GL tables as well as Oracle Reporting Tools such as FR Studio and OTBI Able to communicate with legal entity controllers and financial accountants as well as technology partners Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
