Reinsurance Technician, city, salary negotiable depending on experience working for a Global Lloyd's Broker. Your new company Your new company is a Global Lloyd's Broker who are a leading name within the London market and have rapidly expanded, recently completing over 140 acquisitions and specialise in both insurance and reinsurance risks. Your new Brokers are an employer of choice with modern offices. Your new job will be working within a well-respected and dynamic team who looking for a highly experienced Reinsurance Technician with excess of Loss experience to join their established technical RI team. Your new role Working as a Senior Reinsurance technician, you will be responsible for processing Reinsurance premiums ?and adjustments, as well as confident in the preparation of technical documentation. You will have experience in processing Facultative Reinsurance and Excess of Loss documents to include invoices, premiums and cover notes etc. You will also be able to act as the hub between offshore offices and the front End broking teams. You will have a good working knowledge of slips, and an understanding of how to process a Facultative Reinsurance premium and adjustment. You will be responsible for all IMR and Xchanging and your proactive nature will enable you to deal with queries efficiently What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience as a Senior Reinsurance technician, managing cross class Facultative and Excess of loss risks will contribute to your success. You will be confident in reviewing and amending slips and be able to produce a slip when required. Within the role you will deal with all classes of business across all territories. You will be technically astute, know your way around a slip and have experience with LORS, IMR and Xchanging. . Your experience in a similar role and your friendly and confident nature will allow you to adapt well into a diverse team, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships What you'll get in return You'll be offered a competitive salary of up to £50K, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
