Thriving practice in Cambridgeshire seeks an energetic Employment Lawyer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Employment Lawyer to join our client’s firm in Peterborough. Providing support to the team, the successful candidate will mainly handle a busy caseload of employment matters. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. Responsibilities • Complex employment matters • Redundancy • Reorganisation • Settlement agreements • Unfair dismissal • Tribunal matters • Discrimination • TUPE • Breach of contract • Business development and networking The Candidate • Solicitors and legal executives with at least three years’ PQE • Solid experience in contentious and non-contentious employment matters • Previous employment-related corporate support experience is essential • Has a strong financial track record • Proven excellent academic record – at least 2:1 degree • Has a commercial acumen • Outstanding communication skills • Previous experience of networking, marketing, public speaking is highly advantageous • Has a flair for self-development The Firm With numerous departments riding high in the Legal 500 rankings, our client is a leading firm with an innovative approach to providing outstanding service across a wide spectrum of practice areas.
