Overview
Family Solicitor – Bristol Permanent We are recruiting for an experienced Family Solicitor on behalf of our Client, a well-established legal services organisation, based in Bristol in a very commutable location from Cardiff, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Due to impressive growth within the team, the firm are looking for a Solicitor to join their busy Family department. This position is open to applications from Solicitors and Legal Executives with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE. The successful candidate will have extensive prior experience managing a mixed Private Family caseload, with particular experience dealing with the financial matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing a mixed caseload of family matters, undertaking active negotiation and mediation to achieve the best results for your clients Drafting and auditing legal documents and correspondence Continually develop your legal knowledge in all areas of family law, keeping up to date with appropriate protocols and court process in order to provide technical support to colleagues and make the right decision You will also be expected to provide advice to clients on the best legal action available to them. The post holder will have their own paralegal to assist them with filing matters on the organisation’s case management system. Should the successful candidate enjoy conducting their own advocacy, the opportunity to do so is available however, it is not a requirement. This would be a full-time permanent position and after an initial period, the company are able to offer an attractive flexible working environment. The salary on offer is £35 000 – £45 000 dependent on previous legal experience. A benefits package including free spa and gym access & free parking is also on offer.
