Personal injury paralegal - litigated defendant RTA - £17,500 - £22,000 RTA PARALEGAL / FEE EARNER - MANCHESTER Personal Injury Paralegal RTA - The defendant motor team of this leading law firm is looking for a capable and ambitious law graduate or paralegal to join its growing team in Manchester city centre. OVERVIEW Job Title: RTA Paralegal / Fee Earner Location: Manchester Salary: £17,500 - £22,000 Reports to: Team Leader Previous Experience: Strong academics and any experience in personal injury or in a general legal environment. The role is designed to develop the candidate's knowledge and understanding of RTA. To that end full training and support is provided. RANGE OF WORK UNDERTAKEN BY TEAM The RTA department advises on the full gamut of claims brought against insurer clients from small claims litigation to 'big ticket' multi track work where claims are complex and of a high value. Lawyers advise household name insurers in well-managed teams where the focus is not only of client care, but developing staff and progressing careers when staff are ready. It should be noted that there are a number of examples of people who have started off as paralegals who are now practicing solicitors within the department. WHO THEY ARE LOOKING TO ATTRACT The ideal candidate will have consistently strong academics and a genuine interest in litigation. Prior personal injury experience is not an absolute pre-requisite, though would be an advantage. The team is ultimately looking for someone they can work with and develop.
