Senior Counsel - Data Protection
Overview
A major commercial airline and instantly recognisable brand is seeking to recruit a Senior Data Protection Lawyer to join their legal team at the head office in Luton. The business is a major player in the travel and tourism sector and possesses a large, well-organised legal team. The Role Reporting into the Group DPO, the Senior Data Protection Lawyer will advise the business on all matters relating to: - The Group Data Protection Programme; - Developing and implementing key policies, standard and training; - Ensuring key contracts are GDPR compliant; - Supporting the Group's affiliates with any queries relating to GDPR; - Advising key internal stakeholders; - Managing data protection incidents as required, liaising with external regulators; and - Taking a key GDPR advisory role on all projects; The Person The Senior Data Protection Lawyer should have 5 years' PQE with in-house experience of data proctection matters.
