A top global firm with a market leading insurance practice is looking to hire an ambitious and business development focused Insurance Litigation Associate. Based in London, the Insurance Litigator will be offered a full-time, permanent position in the team. The Team The Insurance Litigation Associate will join a firm that has a significant global contentious and non-contentious insurance practice. In London, the group acts for most of the world’s largest insurance and reinsurance companies and Lloyd’s Syndicates across a range of insurance and reinsurance matters, advising on coverage, acting as monitoring counsel and in defending insureds. The Role In this Insurance Litigation role, you will represent clients in high-value disputes (many of them cross-border in nature). You will manage and resolve disputes, through the conduct of litigation or arbitration proceedings, or through alternative techniques such as mediation, adjudication and expert determination. Key areas of focus for your work will include: Aviation Financial Lines Directors & Officers Professional Indemnity (in particular, solicitors) Warranty & Indemnity Product Liability Reinsurance Trade Credit & Political Risk Requirements To be successful in your application to this Insurance Litigation Associate role, you will have an excellent academic background (a minimum 2.1 degree) and experience of Insurance Litigation work at a City firm.
