Overview
I am currently recruiting a personal injury paralegal on behalf of a Top 100 Law Firm at their Bradford office. As a defendant EL/PL claims handler, you will be responsible for conducting the defence of general insurance claims, including the main claims for EL/PL Personal Injury. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Deal with opponents, experts, statutory bodies and client by e-mail, telephone and in writing Negotiate on issues of liability and quantum Assist senior colleagues, if requested, with higher value claims Pursue recovery of client’s losses, where appropriate, from third parties Maintain accurate financial/reserve/risk management information on all claims Comply with the internal, client and procedural protocols Ensure that personal objectives are reviewed and met Develop a good relationship with existing and potential clients ensuring that a high standard of client care is exercised at all times.
