Principle Procurement Consultant with a Leading Professional Services/Procurement Consultancy based in London Your new company You will join a well-known international professional services/outsourcing company based in Central London. They are renowned for what they specialise in and were market leaders a few years ago. They employ c. 60,000 people globally and have a strong procurement presence in the public and private sector. Your new role This is a Procurement consultancy position which is client facing. Throughout your career at this organisation you will work on multiple projects across an array of different industries. Your role will sit in the delivery area of the business and you will engage with clients with project teams on a number of different procurement activities, such as, category management, P2P implementation, supplier relationship management, setting up procurement (greenfield/brownfield), transformation, and project/programme management. At times, you may be required to simultaneously manage multiple workstreams with multiple clients, so you will need experience with project management. What you'll need to succeed You will need prior experience in a procurement consultancy environment where you have been able to deliver multiple projects. The client is also happy to see candidates from industry; however, you will need to be able to prove that you want to change lanes in your personal life/career to focus on a consultancy role. You will need to be open to travel as clients can be based anywhere in the country, although, currently their clients are mainly based in London and the South of England. You will need to be able to demonstrate market expertise and consult on procurement best practice. Due to the nature of the clients this organisation works with you will need prior experience with indirect/service-based procurement.
