Systems Engineer - Fluid Systems
Overview
Systems Engineer Preston 12 month contract £42 per hour Job Description General Systems is responsible for the engineering specification, development, clearance and support of General Systems (including, Fuel, Crew Escape, Life Support, Aircrew Equipment, Electrical Power Generation, Environment Control, Utility Control Systems and Actuation). The Fluid Systems System Engineer will develop specialist knowledge and technical expertise in the application of developing the maturity of Fluid systems, resolving system and equipment problems. The successful candidate will be qualified to HNC/HND standard or degree level in Engineering or be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge, experience and product expertise. Applicants should be proficient in verbal and written communications, IT competent and be able to effectively research system design data and demonstrate creative problem solving skills. You will need to be effective team workers supporting, co-operating and working with others to achieve common objectives. Experience in the role of design, developing and supporting engineering products would be an advantage. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following: To develop and supply a technical expertise in the engineering specification, development, clearance and support of the Fluid Systems Engineering systems. The role will be technical and include addressing aspects of the Life Cycle Management of the Fluid Systems. To transfer knowledge within that field for application of developing staff maturity and resolving system problems. To develop and maintain working relationships across interfacing disciplines, suppliers and Customers. Specific areas of initial task will include support for UCS, P3EC, P4Ea, TyTan package 168. Support and knowledge transfer will be a primary requirements.
