Overview
Responsibilities Technical ownership of embedded software for all embedded products. The development and validation of electrical and electronic systems. Provide leadership in the ongoing introduction of MBD methods using Mathworks/Simulink toolchain. Work closely with other engineering disciplines, especially electronic hardware. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required Significant experience of embedded firmware development, deployed onto and interfacing with bespoke hardware Significant experience of C/C++ languages in real-time embedded systems Experience of Model-Based Design (MBD) approaches and tools Experience of supporting systems engineering processes and software development lifecycle Knowledge of industrial communications protocols e.g. CAN Demonstrable technical team management and leadership skills Qualifications Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering or Science-related discipline Knowledge and experience of embedded products in the electrical Test & Measurement and Instrumentation sector This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89886996
