Designer - Womens Soft Tailoring
Overview
Working for this fast paced supplier who maintain strong relationships with high street accounts are looking for someone to join their design team Based in the heart of the West End you will be responsible for designing multiproduct womenswear across soft tailoring reporting into the Senior Designer. Duties include:- -research and competitor research - online shop research, -proactive in offering new ideas in the weekly design meetings -Catwalk trend research - pulling together key catwalk trends for the season, translating into commercial designs -Working with and managing the design work for the sample room -Liaising with buyers to take design briefs - you will be hand drawing CADs daily for the UK factories. Experience:- -fashion forward handwriting, relevant for the high street -Excellent handrawing skills, creating clear design sheets and specs -Photoshop and illustrator skills £24000 - £30,000 per annum
