Overview

Akton Recruitment are looking for an Approved Mental Health Professional Senior Social Worker to join the Memorial Hospital for the local authority in Greenwich. You will be required to manage a caseload of complex mental health clients within the older adult service, providing health and social care interventions. This will include commissioning care packages, safeguarding investigations and monitoring mental state for relapse and recovery. The role also requires you to be on the Central AMHP team rota providing assessment and coordination under the Mental Health Act. This is a contract-based role working a total of 35 hours per week at a rate of £35 per hour, and the initial contract is to end 01/07/2020 with a review on the contract as it’s coming to an end. You must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role to be considered and you must hold an up to date enhanced DBS check.
