Overview
Portico is now looking for an experienced Front of House Team Leader that will support an incredibly prestigious client in Canary Wharf. Based in one of the most prestigious buildings in the UK you will be leading a large team in an ever-changing environment, having your limits challenged every day. This is your opportunity to shine and become the best. The successful candidate will work closely with the Deputy Front of House Manager to provide daily leadership to a team of 14 corporate receptionists who work closely with the client to provide an exceptional service at all times. The FOH team is responsible for the operation of a number of areas, including the front desk, client floor reception area, meeting room bookings, events, and switchboard. The client welcomes a large number of VIP clients to their offices so we are looking for someone who can lead a team in providing a bespoke, 5-star service at all times. You will lead your team by example. Monitoring your team performance and providing training and coaching where necessary is a key aspect of this role. You will need to ensure that the team adheres to the professional standards expected by the client, facilitating communication and cooperation across all departments. This role is hands-on. You will be proactive and help out the team in their day to day reception duties as and when it’s needed. To be successful you will need to be able able to work independently and take initiative. Excellent knowledge of MS office and communication skills, both written and oral are essential.
