Overview
Robertson Bell Finance are working with a leading Charity based in Bristol to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner on a 6-month contract. Our client is passionate about delivering over 100 extremely diverse projects, which span much of the UK, aiming to reduce risk to vulnerable populations. The role of the Finance Business Partner will be to act as the key point of communication between Finance and the more outward facing areas of the organisation to drive the success and development of ongoing and future projects via clear communication with non-finance budget managers. Key responsibilities of the Interim Finance Business Partner include: Working with senior budget managers to deliver accurate budgets and forecasts for ongoing internal and external projects to allow for informed decision making. Analysing and explaining key variances in budgets and forecasts to ensure that budget managers have a full understanding of their numbers. Partnering with cost centre managers to forecast future income and devise KPI's. Ensuring the accurate accounting and allocation of both restricted and unrestricted funding for various projects. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate: Previous experience business partnering in a complex accounting environment or a Charity. An understanding of both restricted and unrestricted funding. A CCAB or equivalent qualification. Candidates who are QBE will also be considered. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to use the tool to produce budgets and forecasts.
