Credit Controller | £23K-£28K | Wetherby | Fast growing business | Excellent team dynamic Axon Moore is pleased to represent a fast-growing business in the Wetherby area who are looking for the addition of a Credit Controller to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to be mentored and collaborate with the wider team within a growing business and have autonomy and ownership over your own workload. As a member of the Credit Control function, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): - Sole responsibility for one of the Group ledgers - Actively chase that ledger by telephone and email - Post and allocate receipts accurately - Liaise with other departments to ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner - Issue monthly statements, and automatic reminders - Deal with customer emails incoming to accounts; i.e. issuing copy invoices and statements, updating account information, direct queries to relevant persons for resolution - Process new account applications, including credit checking and agreeing credit limit - Reviewing credit limits when required, in line with credit insurance guidelines when applicable - Create report of overdue accounts ahead of going on stop for review by team manager and commercial team (sales account managers) - Assist team members with their ledgers as needed Person Specification: - Minimum of 18 months business to business credit control experience - Excellent interpersonal skills (both over the telephone and via written medium) - Proficient with basic Microsoft Excel - Self-motivated with a strong work ethic - Organised with a great attention to detail and want for accuracy Send your CV to Georgia Grange at Axon Moore’s Leeds office to be immediately considered.
