Reed Finance are supporting a highly respected charity based in Slough to recruit a permanent systems accountant. This role offers the opportunity to be the first of its kind in a business that are fully invested in improving their finance systems and capability. You will be joining a friendly finance team and an organisation that has a culture of development and support. You will be someone who has a passion for systems development, improving reporting, training others and producing procedures. In this role you will be – Reviewing and maintaining all financial systems policies and procedures. Leading on the development, upgrade and maintenance of ERP system (Unit 4 Business World). Identifying and troubleshooting finance systems issues. Working with in house IT colleagues and with external business partner, to improve the efficiency, usability and to maximise the potential of Business World. Leading on training and supporting both the Finance team and the project teams in the use of the financial system. Oversee Business World’s Inventory Manager to ensure that the volumes and values of published materials held in stock are accurately recorded. Work with the Financial and Management Accountant to design and develop system reports to provide managers with the information required to review the performance of their cost centres and departments. Supervise the work of the Senior Finance Officer and their team including payroll AP AR etc. To be considered for this role you will be someone with experience of developing systems – preferably Agresso – have advanced excel skill and ideally have worked in a finance role before.
