Overview
Oakleaf are currently seeking for a Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at our private hospital based in Hurley near Maidenhead. Located in the tranquil environment of Hurley near Maidenhead, Berkshire.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established yet growing company that puts its staff at the very heart of our business. We are looking for Nurses that share our passion for delivering quality care to our service users. You will be clinically qualified as a Nurse and ideally have experience of working within mental health rehabilitation / Dementia care. As the Clinical Lead you would be expected to provide clinical leadership to the staff team, helping form and maintain standards of the home as well as work with the management team to improve current procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and it would be desirable for you to have some form of neurological exposure. Some key areas the home cover are: Nursing Care Residential Care Physical Disability Dementia Care Mental health The home has a full Multi-disciplinary team and has state of the art equipment to support the rehabilitation of the residents. This is a very exciting position for the group. We are seeking a candidate with the following qualities: Strong leadership skills, the post will include shift work and weekends. You will be the most senior person on duty. Strong clinical nursing background Ability to remain calm and role model to the team Experience of problem solving Active NMC PIN Experience of working within ABI (preferred although not essential) Flexibility and a willingness to participate in an on call rota Desirable Experience of working with challenging behaviour Mentor Qualification Service development experience (supporting the manager) Knowledge of effective quality management systems Ability to deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager when required About our service: Windsor Care is located in the tranquil environment of Hurley in Berkshire and offers a homely, welcoming, fulfilling and nurturing environment with outstanding facilities.
