The firm has been in operation for over 60 years and has gone through considerable change over the last 10 years in adapting to the changes in banking technology. . They are also very active in working with other service providers to ensure their customers are receiving the best possible advice on how to run a business, tax & VAT advice, marketing advice and savings through their partnership programs. The bank now seeks a Managing Director - Head of Banking to take the reins and drive the bank forward. There is a myriad of ways this could be achieved: Innovative sales & marketing, expanding product lines that are in keeping with their exceptional customer service capabilities, effective cost management & control, improved operations and customer support as well as employee training and development. This role is subject to approval from the PRA and FCA and would fall under the Senior Managers Regime Candidates should meet the following criteria: A minimum of 20 years in leadership roles within the Financial Services sector A strong understanding of SME banking and customer services Detailed knowledge and awareness of all regulatory obligations impacting the bank. Strong understanding of Credit & Operational Risk An innovative approach to product development The ability to represent the bank to all external regulatory bodies (FCA, PRA etc) High level of achievement throughout your career University degree and evidence of further professional studies.
