Overview

We Care Recruitment are looking for a number of experienced Youth Support Workers for permanent contracts in the Northumberland area. The purpose of the job is to work with young people and adults (Students) ranging between 16 and 25 years of age to safeguard and promote their safety and welfare at all times. To support students to feel a sense of belonging and influence within their home, providing individualised day to day care and support. To provide and encourage students to access opportunities to engage in hobbies and experiences in order to attain positive outcomes, boost confidence and improve resilience whilst increasing their levels of independence and self-regulation The ideal candidate will have previous experience of supporting people with additional needs and will demonstrate a passion and commitment to supporting others. NVQ3 in related subject is desirable but not mandatory. This role will become a permanent contract after a period of 12 weeks probationary period.
