Overview
A premium furniture business is looking to recruit a Sustainability & Quality Assurance Manager. To be accountable for setting up and managing professional and productive arrangements for assuring product quality & sustainability throughout the supply chain to deliver enhanced customer & business value and avoid waste. Responsible for defining the QA strategy, approach and execution to support the Product Team in delivering product that is compliant, fit for purpose and best meets customer and business requirements with a focus on improving sustainability. Provide technical expertise across furniture to manage quality assurance during production and post delivery to their customers. This is a new role with the opportunity to define and develop policies, processes, procedures & systems to ensure their product are sufficiently compliant with best practice & regulations and improve product quality & sustainability to enhance customer value whilst balancing the broader business needs and commercial constraints. You must have experience of auditing factories in Far East and UK/Europe - Knowledge of furniture manufacturing systems & processes. This role is across home furniture and white goods.
