Senior Systems Engineer
Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project/Contract Engineer to join our client on a key site in London. They are the leading integrator of Fire & Security Systems within the UK. Location: Central London Salary: Circa £55k per annum plus benefits Within this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, project installations, managing on site personnel both direct and subcontract and acting as onsite focal point for customers on site., ensuring jobs are installed on time and margin is maintained or improved. You will manage any number of projects on site at any one time, reviewing of project works for design, profitability and contractual terms and ensuring systems are being installed to comply with BS standards. You will also be responsible for recommending any system improvements, producing method statements and risk assessments and scheduling all subcontract labour for each project. Towards the close of project, you will handover systems to the customer, contractors or end users and to the local service team, issue commissioning certificates and providing training and reports. Our ideal candidate will have/be; An excellent understanding of current BS standards relating to Fire & Security Systems Experience of Fire Alarms, fire suppression, Refuge Alarm Systems, IDS, Access Control and CCTV design and installation Contract and Commercial understanding especially within the construction industry Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Leadership skills Planning and organisation skills Flexibility Results focused Customer focused The ability to work to tight deadlines A full clean driving license essential An electrical background would be a distinct advantage eSift have been appointed as the resource partner and we are managing this role on behalf of our client.
