Overview
Our client is a international Foreign Exchange broker based in the west end, An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager - Partnerships . The purpose of this role will be to develop new relationships with strategic partners and clients. Key Accountabilities Build and Develop Partnerships • Identify New Business opportunities and develop them into clients and advocates. • Develop new relationships with clients to generate new and repeat business revenue • Visit and communicate with Key Partners and clients regularly • Support colleagues where necessary on regional or overseas trips or management of their accounts • Establish and maintain prospective client database • Sell all the organisation's services (corporate, private and retail) to the best of your abilities • Action Key Partner and client call backs, and arrange meetings and staff training when required • Create/review Key Partner account development plans with account managers • Update clients and Key Partners with information regarding new services/changes to services • Build client relationships through proactive selling methods and the proposition of appropriate FX risk prevention solutions • Promote and maintain a high level of customer service to existing and potential clients • Make sales presentation to partners and customers • Maintain relationships with internal customers and other departments • Attend meetings, trade fairs and exhibitions in order to develop new business relationships • Attend relevant industry seminars/exhibitions Duties will include: Develop relationships over the telephone, face to face, networking and trade exhibitions. Visit and communicate with key partners and clients regularly Support colleagues on overseas trips or management of their accounts Build client relationships through proactive selling methods Send out introductory proposal letters and brochures Attend meetings, trade fairs and exhibitions in order to develop new business relationships Become the industry champion through your sector The ideal candidate will: Have experience at a foreign exchange broker Have a network with a a client base of corporates Strong experience in a fast paced financial services organisation Knowledge of Financial services, markets, products and services Experience of implementing payment solutions for corporate clients Experience working with a pension trustee/wealth management firm Desirable In return you can expect a competitive salary, uncapped commission with a very good commission structure and excellent benefits with a world leading and growing organisation.
