Overview
CNC Setter / Operators required for busy client based close to Hayes, Middlesex. You will be working for a major manufacturer of precision components and parts who are part of an international group. As a CNC Setter / Operator you will be required set and operate a wide variety of machines which could include Mills and Lathes predominantly you will be working on matsuura machining centres and sliding head lathes. CNC Setter / Operator Requirements: Previous experience of working on 5 machines is essential. As is the ability to do basic edits to existing programs. CNC Setter / Operator should ideally have an Engineering/Machining/Toolmaking apprenticeship or similar It is essential that the CNC Machinists are able to read and interpret engineering drawings As a CNC Machinist you should have previous production experience and machining background Candidates should have previous experience of setting and operating on 5 axis machines as well as sliding head lathes. CNC Setter / Operator Responsibilities: As a CNC Setter / Operator you will be machining a variety of precision parts CNC Machinist will be required to work on a variety of metal components Candidates will be required to ensure that all production targets are met As a CNC Setter/Operator you will be required undertake your own 1st off inspections.
