This is an amazing opportunity to join a very well known and established retail client, who are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer/Engineer to join their expanding team. Their offices are based in Holburn, but due to the current climate all interviews and on-boarding will be done remotely. It's a very autonomous environment, with their teams given the time and freedom they need to push boundaries, and to create amazing systems and technologies. In return, they offer a generous salary, a discretionary bonus plus great employee perks More about the role • Write well-structured clean code • Actively assist in architecting systems and products • Develop supporting infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines, to deploy your code into the cloud • Visualise your product’s behaviour in production • Agile ways of working to discover, assess and build products What they're looking for • Developers who can lead by example • Excellent experience and an advocate of writing clean code using Java 8, with tools and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Maven and Gradle • Developers who are willing and open to working with a range of technologies such as AWS, Node.js, Python, PHP, MySQL more • A belief in a DevOps culture and approach • Exerience of writing automated tests (TDD/BDD) using tools such as Junit, Spock, Gatling and Selenium, where appropriate Tech stack includes: - Java 8 - Spring - AWS - An Agile & TDD/BDD environment If you would like to know more and are interested, don't hesitate to apply This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89938472
