Overview
Support Worker, Thornbury Full or Part Time Up to £10 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience I am recruiting for a Support Worker for a residential, supported living role. The service requires a flexible person with a positive and calm attitude, and optimistic outlook. You will need to be empathetic, energetic and enjoy supporting people to reach their full potential in a residential setting. Main responsibilities: · To provide a supportive and sociable environment to help individuals develop life skills. · To join in with and lead creative and outdoor activities. · To provide care and support of the highest standard by following the plans in place. · Attend off-site activities with residents, including meals out, swimming, cinema etc. · Complete and compile the relevant necessary paperwork to ensure compliance. What you will need: · Experience within a similar role or working within the health and social care sector is advantageous. · Experience with learning disabilities is desirable. · Strong organisational and clear communication skills. · Driving licence desirable due to location.
