Overview
Full Stack JavaScript Developer The purpose of this role is to support our teams across retail, wholesale, and ecommerce. The work will include developing new websites, channels and functionalities as well as supporting the current ecosystem for support issues. Actively participates in projects and working parties to support projects and teams, using different project methodologies to include agile and waterfall. The role will also be called into working with teams in other regions (US & Asia) to build truly global processes around development, QA/release management so that the organisation is in the best possible position to deliver global projects across all channels. KEY RESPONSIBILITY: The main responsibility of this role would be to support the existing web team on the support issues, enhancements and projects for the online business. IDEAL CANDIDATE : - Strong programming skills in building and maintaining websites with proven HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery development experience - Experience with node.js and the express framework - Experience integrating with 3rd Party systems via RESTful/SOAP APIs - Previous experience with eCommerce organisations and working with eCommerce platforms (in particular Demandware) is beneficial - Experience with versioning systems such as GIT - Experience with Unit Testing - Commercial experience with - Microsoft Office - Adobe packages including Photoshop - Unit testing - Angular.js - XML - JSON - SASS - Gulp - Titanium, Appcelator, XCode - Eclipse IDE This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89936607
